We desire Hope Church to have a fingerprint on our community.  To leverage our influence and make a lasting impact, our LOCAL OUTREACH strategy is two-fold: 

1. SERVING

Our Grow Groups are the primary vehicle Hope Church uses to serve.  We have some Grow Groups where serving our community is their primary focus each week, but we hope every Grow Group will look for ways to serve others in our community. Once per year, Hope Church strives to offer everyone an opportunity to serve alongside our Grow groups in one amazing day of bringing hope!

2. HOPE CHURCH Outreach PARTNERS

We want Hope attenders to support many local organizations, but as a church, our primary long-term partner is the Salvation Army.  In the name of Jesus, the Salvation Army is committed to "Doing the Most Good" with their entrusted resources and to bring the message of Jesus to those who have not yet heard. 

Along with various outreach events, Hope Church partners with the Salvation Army in two major areas:

1) Providing Christmas gifts for families in our community through their Angel Tree initiative. Each family not only receives gifts for children, but also hear about the hope of Jesus!

2) Providing food on a regular with our monthly “Second Sunday” food drive. We encourage all of our families to fill these green reusable grocery bags with non-perishable food items and then on the 2nd Sunday of each month, bring your full bag to church, picking up an empty bag. We pack up the food, take it The Salvation Army food pantry, and then repeat the process every month! This ongoing “give” is a simple way you can develop a consistent heart of generosity.

At Hope, we believe that God’s greatest vessel to reach the lost and hurting is the local church, so much so that we support the planting and implementing of new churches throughout the United States. We are pattered together with hundreds of like-minded churches who have a mission to start new churches that effectively reach people for Jesus.

CITY ON A HILL CHURCH BOSTON, MA

As part of our SEND partnership, we proudly call City on a Hill in Boston, MA, one of our NATIONAL OUTREACH PARTNERS. Located in the most densely populated area of Boston called Somerville, Pastor Fletcher Lang and his family lead this church and serve one of the most influential cities in the world.

Pre-Born! Pregnancy Clinics

At Hope Church, we believe that human life possesses a beautiful sanctity which is endowed by our awesome Creator-King. And we desire to partner with Christian organizations that offer alternatives to abortion as well as resources for Mom’s in crisis.

We are proud to partner with Pre-Born. This truth is that legislation will not stop unplanned pregnancies! As the fight for life rages in state courtrooms, Pre-Born! Pregnancy Clinics continue to lead the nation in compassionate, Christ-centered empowerment of women facing unplanned pregnancies.

At Hope Church, we are proud to call two incredible and effective Christ-centered agencies our INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH PARTNERS:

Second Chance global

Second Chance Global aims to empower families and leave a legacy for Christ, breaking the cycle of poverty. Through their strategic Family Empowerment Program process, they come alongside families through sustainable job creation, while partnering with them through basic life skills competencies. When families are empowered to stay together, communities are strengthened, when communities are strengthened, nations are changed. 

SECOND CHANCE GLOBAL MISSIONS TRIP OPPORTUNITIES

We offer 2 opportunities annually to travel to the Dominican Republic with Second Chance Global for a missions trip. Our trips are usually in July and February of each year. THE TIMOTHY INITIATIVE (TTI)

TTI is an international disciple making and church planting movement based on the principle of having local leaders in areas with limited access to the Gospel, train disciple makers and church planters. This multiplication model has already proven successful with a 5-year goal to plant 200,000 churches and train 5 million disciples in central Africa and the India region.  A central North Carolina goal is for churches to partner together to plant 1000 new churches in 1000 villages in India and Nepal, by the end of 2021.
